Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator - Philadelphia

RESPONSIBILITIES

Works directly for Project Manager to facilitate various duties on job sites. These duties include but are not limited to:

Handling paperwork and documentation for matting transportation, moves, includes: signing off on correct counts of material, coordinating with outside haulers for directions and time of loading/unloading of trucks

Working closely with PM for logistic and permitting needs. Staying ahead of the work crews in order to efficiently continue work on sites

Serve as liaison between operations and customers

Tracking, filing, and monitoring of required submittals from the contractor and their subcontractors including insurance certificates, schedules, safety documents, technical submittals, invoices, and correspondence

Ensuring strong internal and external customer relations relating to service and delivery

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Ability to travel locally to work on various job sites when needed

Detail oriented with excellent communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic file organization

Must have a good driving record that would pass approval by our insurer

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of  Construction Industry or General Contracting

Degree preferred
